What is CSUNA?
The Catholic Students United Nations Assembly, better known as CSUNA, is a simulation of the United Nations that catapults students into the world of diplomacy and negotiation. The student “delegates” draft resolutions, plot strategy, negotiate with supporters and adversaries, resolve conflicts and navigate the UN’s Rules of Procedures — all in the interest to resolve problems that affect almost every country in the world. Delegations are composed of 1 to 5 students per nation, depending on the number of committees to which that country belongs. We greatly emphasize that applicants should have an interest in both current affairs and public debate. Experienced delegates are normally assigned larger delegations as the representatives of these countries play a greater role in world affairs and must therefore be represented by the most active and skilled delegates in the Assembly.
